Robyn brings both professional and ministry experience to Shade. A graduate of secretarial school in Boston, she has served in a variety of executive and legal secretary roles, developing a strong background in administration, data entry, and document editing. She also has a passion for music, teaching piano lessons for many years and serving as an accompanist for youth choirs and worship teams in both Virginia and North Carolina.
Robyn first connected to Shade through Founder and Executive Director Claire Fedele, whose testimony of God’s calling to serve children with albinism deeply impacted her. Though she hadn’t previously felt drawn to missions, Robyn’s heart was changed through Claire’s story, and she is now honored to contribute her gifts to Shade’s mission. She enjoys assisting with administrative needs and sharing about God’s miraculous work through Shade.
Robyn and her husband, Kevin, reside in Herndon, Virginia. They enjoy time with their family—their adult son who lives locally, and their daughter, son-in-law, and four grandchildren in North Carolina, whom they visit often.
