William brings a unique global perspective to Shade School, shaped by his 11 years living and working in Africa. His deep concern for “the least among us” has guided both his professional and personal life, fueling his passion for serving vulnerable populations. William first connected with Shade through his friendship with the late Jack Grubbs, Shade’s founding Chairman of the Board and Rector of Potomac Falls Anglican. That connection, combined with his firsthand understanding of African communities, has made Shade’s mission especially meaningful to him.
William’s experience and heart for service strengthen the organization’s work of providing education and hope to children with albinism and other vulnerabilities in Tanzania.
Outside of his professional and volunteer roles, William enjoys reading and being a part of his community.
