Kacy Lowe was first introduced to Shade School by a mentor and began volunteering with the organization in the fall of 2023. Drawn to Shade’s mission and its dedication to supporting children and adults living with albinism and other vulnerabilities, she was thrilled to officially join the team in 2024.
With nearly two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector, Kacy has helped organizations of all sizes grow their teams and expand their fundraising capacity. As a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), she brings both expertise and passion to her work—empowering nonprofits to thrive and fulfill their missions. Having previously served in the international nonprofit sector, Kacy has witnessed firsthand the need for strong, sustainable support for communities in rural Africa.
Kacy lives in Oklahoma City with her dog, Joy, and two cats, Cash and Merle. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and hosting family and friends in her home.
